A 11 month old child arrives at the clinic with a 33 hour history of a somewhat of a sore ear. The mother reports no fever. The child attends swimming lessons and has an older sister with a cold. The child is not immunized.

Physical Exam: Child can be settled. Ear: See picture. Remainder of physical exam is unremarkable.
