  A 67 year old woman presents to your office with 3 days of back pain. The pain is moderate in nature. There is no history of trauma. The patient has a history of back pain.  There is no change in the nature of pain with activity or time of day. On review of symptoms, they describe a feeling of inability to empty their bladder. There is no tenderness to the lumbar spine region. Straight leg raise test is negative.
