A 33 year old male presents to your clinic for concerns about low mood. In the last 2 months, they have become increasingly anhedonic, and have had difficulty with concentration, increased sleep, cold intolerance, and weight gain. Their medical profile is unremarkable for medical or psychiatric diagnoses. They are not on any medications. There has not been any known inciting incident. There is no suicidal ideation. A physical examination reveals that there is a documented 6 kg weight gain over the past 7 months.
